Special Projects

Center of Excellence

  • UNI Solar Electric Boat R&D Center, where work focuses on student involvement in the development of zero emission solar powered boats. This includes hull design, electrical power generation, power storage, power conversion, and speed control. The UNI Solar boat team ranked fourth overall in 2007 World Championship on Solar Electric Boating.
